Having training in neurology and psychopharmacology allows me to diagnose and treat complex mood and anxiety problems,
and my training as a psychoanalyst allow me to work with patients in depth on problems requiring psychotherapy or psychoanalysis.
 
I see adult patients for diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mood and anxiety problems. I teach and supervise students in
training programs at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute and residents in the U.C. Dept. of Psychiatry. I also regularly speak to
U.C. Dept. of Neurology faculty and residents on working with emotional aspects of neurological illnesses.
I have written and

continue to do research on the psychological background and best treatment of individuals with conversion disorders.
