A one-semester offering in the theory or technique of child and adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapy

Child Psychotherapy Training Trainees Testimonials 10 minute video

We are writing to let you know about the possibility of participating in a one-semester course involving psycho-dynamic approaches to work with children and adolescents.  You are welcome to participate in one of three possible offerings. These are a course on psycho-dynamic approaches to technique in work with adolescents, on Fridays from 1:15 to 2:45 pm Eastern time; a clinical conference from 2:55 to 3:55 pm Eastern time; and a course on child and adolescent psychopathology from 4 to 5:15 pm Eastern time.  Classes begin on January 24, 2020.  There are 15 weeks per semester, and classes will end on May 22, 2020. Tele-video participation is possible.

These courses are suitable for child and adolescent psychotherapists who work in agency, inpatient, and private practice settings, and who have an interest in psycho-dynamic approaches to work with children and adolescents. They are part of our ongoing two-year child and adolescent psychotherapy program, and we are making them available on a one-semester, course-by-course basis for those who are not able to participate in the full two-year program at this time due to other time commitments.

Tuition is $525 per class. CEs and CMEs will be available for a maximum of 21 units per class. As the Directors of the program, we will be glad to talk this over with you and to answer any questions.
