Advanced Psychotherapy Seminar

In addition to the 2-year Advanced Psychotherapy Program, CPI offers a one-year, once-weekly seminar on topics in psychoanalytic theory and practice, called the Advanced Psychotherapy Seminar (APS) for senior psychiatry residents, psychology graduate students and other students in mental health fields who may not be able to enroll in CPI’s 2 year program. In years without adequate enrollment for the APS, we are happy to arrange for individualized mentoring for students interested in developing readiness for further psychoanalytic training.
