Dr. Jeffrey Tuttle was raised in Lexington, KY, where he attended college and medical school 
at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Tuttle completed his residency training in psychiatry at the
University of Kentucky, where he also served as Chief Resident. He is a graduate of the Advanced
Psychotherapy Program and is currently an advanced psychoanalytic candidate at the Cincinnati
Psychoanalytic Institute.  He is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University
of Kentucky, where he provides psychodynamic psychotherapy lectures, leads psychotherapy case
discussions and offers individual psychotherapy supervision for residents.  He is also an Associate
on the Bioethics Committee at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, providing expertise in
bioethics consultations involving psychiatric disorders.  Dr. Tuttle maintains a private practice in
psychiatry, psychoanalysis, and psychotherapy supervision and is a co-founder of the Lexington
Psychoanalytic Study Group, which offers educational opportunities and seminars for psycho-
dynamically oriented mental health clinicians in Lexington.
